Longwood, FL - For the second year in a row, Insurance Office of American ranks number nine on the Insurance Journal’s “Top 100 Privately-Held Property/Casualty Agencies” list. The Insurance Journal release date for its fourth annual Top 100 Property Casualty Independent Agencies list is July 16, 2007 for the print issue and the online directory is slated to appear in the July 5, 2007 online edition.
IOA leads the pack for the state of Florida with a reported 2006 P/C premium volume of $559.7 million. The Longwood, Fla.-based agency was founded in 1988 with only three people, IOA now has 456 employees and partner-agents within 22 branch offices in eight states from coast to coast.
Insurance Journal's Top 100 list ranked agencies based on their 2006 P/C premium volume that was submitted directly to Insurance Journal. The information was collected from voluntary online submissions from agencies, brokerages and best estimates based on other public information sources.
